Meredith Vieira, host of the game “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” since 2002, is leaving the show when her current contract expires. Disney says it will find a new host to replace Vieira in the fall. The former “Today” co-host is also a special correspondent at NBC.

CBS Corp. has made two promotions, naming Chris Ender and Dana McClintock executive vice presidents of communications. Ender joined the company in 1996, McClintock in 1993.

 

 

Ad agency T3 has promoted Rick Doerr, naming him president and chief client officer. Doerr was most recently senior vice president and managing director for the agency’s New York office.

Danielle Andrews has been named New York-based account executive at Real Media Group, the media services arm of digital agency 24/7 Media. Andrews has previously held positions at OpenX and A&E Networks.

 

 

Bonnier Corp. has promoted Dave Freygang to chief executive officer, replacing the retiring Terry Snow. Freygang had been executive vice president in charge of the company’s active interest division.

Fortune magazine has promoted Stephanie Mehta to deputy managing editor, reporting to managing editor Andy Serwer. Mehta was previously in charge of the magazine’s technology and Washington, D.C., coverage.

Lifetime Networks has made a pair of moves, naming Kimberly Chessler and Paul Hardy vice presidents of reality programming. Chessler has been with Lifetime for three years, while Hardy joins from truTV.

Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps will be the next celebrity to appear on Golf Channel’s “The Haney Project,” in which golf coach Hank Haney attempts to help people fix their games. The new season of the show premieres on Feb. 25.

Actress Zoey Deutch is set to guest on at least two episodes of ABC Family’s “Switched at Birth,” with her first episode airing on Feb. 18. Deutch has previously appeared on “Ringer” and “The Suite Life on Deck.”

 

 

Reporter John Cook has been promoted to editor at Gawker, replacing the outgoing A.J. Daulerio. There’s no word yet on what’s next for Daulerio, who replaced Remy Stern at the beginning of 2012.

Mobile advertising technology company has made two hires, naming David Gluck East Coast account executive and Karli Weiss Midwest account executive. Gluck joins from Kontera, Weiss from CareerBuilder.
