Big DVR numbers for ‘Big Bang Theory’

Big Bang Theory ‘Big Bang’ had the week’s most growth through seven-day DVR playback.

CBS’s hit comedy “The Big Bang Theory” was a winner on a number of fronts during the week ended May 10.

That week the show posted a 3.7 rating among viewers 18-49, tops on broadcast, and it also posted a 5.8 live-plus-seven-day DVR payback rating, according to Nielsen, the most growth in the demo that week.

“Bang” was the only show that week to add at least 2.0 ratings points with seven-day DVR playback added in. ABC’s “Modern Family” had the second-most growth, adding 1.8 points for a 4.7 L+7 rating.

The CBS sitcom also added the most total viewers that week through seven-day DVR playback, 5.51 million for an L+7 total of 20.15 million.

It was the only program to add more than 5 million viewers, though NBC’s “The Blacklist” came close with an additional 4.72 million, bringing its L+7 total to 11.62 million.
