At the box office over the weekend ended March 19, “Beauty and the Beasr” debuted at No. 1 at the box office with $170.0 million in ticket sales. “Kong: Skull Island” was No. 2 with $28.9 million.

In movie rentals for the week ended March 20, according to iTunes, “Passengers” was at No. 1, followed by “Moana.”

On iTunes Monday morning, “Shape of You” by Ed Sheeran was the No. 1 song for the sixth straight week, followed again by “That’s What I Like” by Bruno Mars.

And in books, “Dangerous Games” by Danielle Steel was No. 1 on The New York Times’ hardcover fiction best-sellers list for the week ended March 11, and it was also No. 3 on USA Today’s book chart for the week of March 16.
