Top cable news networks in primetime (total viewers): Fox News Channel, MSNBC, CNN, CNBC, HLN, FBN.

Top cable news programs (total viewers): 1. Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor” (Wednesday, 8 p.m.); 2. MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show” (Tuesday, 9 p.m.); 3. Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor” (Wednesday, 8 p.m.); 4. Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor” (Tuesday, 8 p.m.); 5. Fox News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor” (Thursday, 8 p.m.)

Top movie (total viewers): Hallmark Channel’s “Campfire Kiss,” (Saturday, 9 p.m.) 2.30 million.

Top sporting event (total viewers): TNT’s “College Basketball: Duke/South Carolina” (Sunday, 8:44 p.m.) 5.96 million.

Show on the rise: MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show,” Tuesday, 9 p.m. The nightly news commentary show averaged 4.14 million viewers for its rather anticlimactic reveal of Donald Trump’s 2005 taxes, its most-watched episode ever.

Show on the decline: AMC’s “Into the Badlands,” Sunday, 10:05 p.m. The season two premiere averaged 3.44 million total viewers, down 64 percent from 6.39 for its first-season premiere in November 2015.
