RJ Palmer and TargetCast merge into Assembly

TargetCast and RJ Palmer are no more.

MDC Partners has merged the two to form a new media agency called Assembly, and former Carat USA president Martin Cass will lead the new agency as chief executive officer.

As a part of the move, TargetCast chief executive Steve Farella becomes chairman of Assembly, while former RJ Palmer chief executive Peter Knobloch will serve as chief investment officer.

Additionally, TargetCast president Audrey Siegel, TargetCast Interactive Marketing president Steve Minichini and RJ Palmer president Jim Vail have been named managing partners.

Assembly has also named former Isobar chief strategy officer Michael Nicholas entrepreneur in residence and chief experience officer.
