Growth spurt continues for syndicated ‘Live’

Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan are on a roll this season.

“Live with Kelly and Michael” posted a 3.1 household rating during the week ended Feb. 16, according to Nielsen, tying “Dr. Phil” for No. 1 for the week and up 19 percent from the same week last year.

The talk show is having its best season among total viewers in seven years, and best among households and women 25-54 in six years.

Elsewhere in syndication:

“Wheel of Fortune” was once again the No. 1 game show and top syndicated show overall with 11.49 million total viewers, while “Judge Judy” led among households with a 7.6 rating.

“The Big Bang Theory” was the week’s top comedy with a 6.4 household rating and 3.4 among 18-49s, followed by “Modern Family” with a 4.7 in households and a 2.9 in 18-49s.

“Entertainment Tonight” remained No.1 for the week among entertainment magazines among both total viewers (5.11 million) and women 25-54 (1.9 rating).
