February 26, 2014
The season premiere audience for “Dallas” was down a bit from last year.
The TNT drama drew 2.7 million total viewers for its third-season bow Monday night at 9 p.m., according to Nielsen overnights, off from the 3 million who tuned into the show’s second-season debut.
Among adults 18-49, the show dipped 5 percent, to 946,000 viewers.
“Dallas” placed eighth for the night on cable. TNT noted that its premiere numbers matched the averages for the show during the full second season.
USA’s “WWE” led cable on Monday night in both total viewers and adults 18-49. In fact, the show took the top three slots for the evening in both.
