Best bet online: Netflix, “Master of None,” 3 a.m. Series premiere. New well-reviewed comedy starring former “Parks and Recreation” actor Aziz Ansari.
Top sporting event: ESPN, “NBA Basketball,” 8 p.m. Eastern Conference battle between the Heat and Pacers in Indianapolis.
SATURDAY
Best bet on broadcast: NBC, “Saturday Night Live,” 11:30 p.m. How much of a ratings boost will host and presidential candidate Donald Trump provide?
Best bet on cable: Lifetime, “Caught,” 8 p.m. As a prank a woman kidnaps her husband’s mistress, but things begin to go too far.
Top sporting event: CBS, “College Football,” 8 p.m. Should be a great SEC game between No. 2 LSU and No. 4 Alabama.
SUNDAY
Best bet on broadcast: NBC, “Sunday Night Football,” 8:20 p.m. Matchup between NFC East rivals Dallas and Philadelphia should easily take the night on broadcast.
Best bet on cable: Starz, “Flesh and Bone,” 8 p.m. Series premiere. New drama following a young dancer who gets a job with a top New York ballet company.
Top sporting event: ESPN, “World Series of Poker,” 8:30 p.m. Live coverage of the final table at the 2015 Main Event in Las Vegas.
