Best bet on broadcast: NBC, “Grimm,” 9 p.m. Season premiere. New season picks up with Nick dealing with the fallout from Juliette’s death and his mother’s beheading.
Best bet on cable: WE tv, “Kendra on Top,” 9 p.m. Season finale. Kendra goes to her father’s wedding, but, gasp, without Hank.
Top sporting event: Fox, “Major League Baseball,” 8 p.m. The World Series shifts to New York for game three between the Mets and Royals, with Kansas City up 2-0.
SATURDAY
Best bet on broadcast: Fox, “Major League Baseball,” 8 p.m. Game four of the World Series will win the night on broadcast.
Best bet on cable: Starz, “Ash vs. Evil Dead,” 9 p.m. Series premiere. New horror-comedy based on the “Evil Dead” movie franchise. The new show has already been picked up for a second season.
Top sporting event: ABC, “College Football,” 8 p.m. One of the best matchups of the day pits No. 21 Temple against No. 9 Notre Dame.
SUNDAY
Best bet on broadcast: ABC, “Quantico,” 10 p.m. Miranda and her son are under surveillance, while Shelby tries to stay away from Caleb.
Best bet on cable: Hallmark Channel, “‘Tis the Season for Love,” 8 p.m. It’s now November, so let the rush of holiday movies begin.
Top sporting event: NBC, “Sunday Night Football,” 8:20 p.m. The undefeated Denver Broncos host the undefeated Green Bay Packers.
