Saatchi & Saatchi New York has promoted Andrea Diquez to chief executive officer and Javier Campopiano to chief operating officer, taking over for Brent Smart and Jay Benjamin when they leave on Sept. 1. Diquez had been president, while Campopiano is chief creative officer for Latin America, as well as CCO for U.S. Hispanic at Conill.
Pete Gosselin and Jay Hunt have joined Havas Worldwide’s New York office, where they’ll be creative directors. Gosselin and Hunt previously worked together at Droga5.
Agency network Engine Group has named Aaron Dus vice president of strategy and innovation for Engine West, based in Los Angeles. Dus was previously associate partner and vice president of strategic planning at Rosetta│Razorfish Global.

Kantar Media has promoted Steve Passwaiter to vice president and general manager of its Campaign Media Analysis Group (CMAG), taking over for the departing Elizabeth Wilner. Passwaiter had been senior director of business development.

Turner Sports has promoted Tina Shah, naming her senior vice president of business affairs, as well as associate general counsel. Shah has been with Turner for 15 years.
Telemundo has named Gemma Garcia executive producer of its newscast “Noticiero Telemundo,” replacing Leticia Herrera, who has moved to the network’s “Enfoque.” Garcia was previously a foreign correspondent at TVE in Spain.
Spike TV has named David Boyd director and producer of “The Mist,” its upcoming project based on the Stephen King story. Boyd has directed a number of TV shows during his career, most recently an episode of “The Walking Dead.”
CBS has named Kevin James host of its “CBS Fall Preview,” which airs on Sept. 12. The preview will include the network’s new comedy starring James, “Kevin Can Wait.”
The upcoming season of ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” will feature a bit of Olympics flavor. Gymnast Laurie Hernandez and swimmer Ryan Lochte will both compete on the reality series, which is entering its 23rd season. Others set to compete this season include: rapper Vanilla Ice; singer and producer Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds; talk show host Amber Rose; former Texas Gov. Rick Perry; actresses Maureen McCormick and Marilu Henner; actor Jake T. Austin; reality star Terra Jolé; race car driver James Hinchcliffe; country singer Jana Kramer; and former NFL player Calvin Johnson.
Magazines
Reader’s Digest magazine has made a handful of moves, including hiring Marc Peyser as executive editor. Peyser was most recently editor at large at Money magazine. Reader’s Digest has also made a pair of promotions, naming Lauren Gelman executive digital director and Lorraine Burton managing editor.
