Saatchi & Saatchi has promoted Kate Stanners to global chief creative officer, taking over for Pablo del Campo, who stepped down from his position. Stanners was previously creative director in the agency’s London office.
Independent agency Giant Spoon has made a number of moves, including naming Erin Hauswirth associate director of strategy. The agency has also made four other hires, naming Michael Tonge and Elle Bass strategists, Will Thompson senior social strategist and Dominique Escalante strategic account manager. Hauswirth joins from iHeartMedia, Tonge from Dentsu Aegis, Thompson from Habitual Social, Escalante from Goodby Silverstein & Partners, and Bass from Team One.
Anomaly has named Omar Quiñones group strategy director, working alongside managing director Giovanni Villamar and creative director Mauricio Galvan. Quiñones previously held a similar position at Crispin Porter + Bogusky in Miami.
BBC Worldwide North America has named Sergei Kuharsky senior vice president of strategy and business development, based in the company’s New York office. Kuharsky joins from Scripps Networks Interactive, where he was general manager for Food Network.
Adam Carolla is set to host Spike TV’s “Adam Carolla Builds Stuff Live,” a live interactive talk show rolling out next year. Carolla previously hosted the network’s “Catch a Contractor.”
Bloomberg Media has promoted Amy Marks to global head of ad sales marketing, reporting to chief revenue and client partnerships officer Paul Caine. Marks joined the company last year, and before that she was at People magazine.
Time Inc. has added Tyler Rogoway to its auto-focused site TheDrive.com, where he will cover defense and aviation topics. Rogoway was previously editor of Jalopnik’s Foxtrot Alpha site.
Actor Brad Garrett will guest on the two-part season finale of NBC’s “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” playing an abusive corrections officer. The former “Everybody Loves Raymond” actor most recently appeared on FX’s “Fargo.”
Alex Hagon has been named an editor at PS260, a commercial post-production and editorial company. Hagon was previously founder and managing director at Circus UK.
