Carmichael Lynch has promoted president Marcus Fischer, naming him chief executive officer. Fischer rejoined the agency as president in 2013; before that he was at Space150.

Havas Group has restructured its business, eliminating the Havas Creative Group and Havas Media Group division. As a result, Dominique Delport will serve as global managing director and chief client officer for the new combined Havas Group. Also, Jorge Percovich becomes chief executive officer for Havas LATAM Group, and Mike Armour moves to CEO of HAVAS APAC Group. Percovich had been chief executive of Latin America for Havas Media Group, while Armour held the same position for Havas Creative Group’s APAC region.

Elsewhere at Havas, Havas Edge has named Nicole Cordero vice president of U.S. Hispanic media, effective immediately. Cordero joins from Mercury Media, where she was director of Hispanic strategy and planning.

Katz Media Group has promoted Mark Gray to chief executive officer, in charge of both the radio and TV businesses. Gray had been president of Katz Radio Group.

Milan Martin, president at Grey San Francisco, has stepped down from his position, according to a post on his LinkedIn page. There’s no word yet on who will replace Martin or what he’ll do next.

Multicultural agency the community has promoted Andy Amendola, naming him senior director of digital strategy. Amendola had been director of digital strategy.

Brooklyn agency AGW Group has brought in Himanshu Kumar Suri, naming him a creative strategist. Suri is best known by his rap alias, Heems.

Spencer Scott has been named head of media platforms at PCH/Media, the digital advertising and data arm of Publishers Clearing House. Scott was previously chief executive officer at Meed Mobile.

Kansas City digital agency DEG has named Tug McTighe executive creative director, a new position at the company. McTighe previously held positions at Barkley and Sullivan Higdon & Sink.

Miguel Varoni has been promoted to vice president and creative director at Telemundo Studios and Telemundo International Studios, where he will continue to work on scripted projects. Varoni had been an actor and creative director with the network.

Actor Michael Imperioli has joined an untitled comedy pilot at ABC (formerly known as “Start Up”), joining Zach Braff in the cast. Imperioli is best known for his role on HBO’s “The Sopranos.”

Former “ER” actor Anthony Edwards has joined the cast of an untitled drama thriller at Fox, from “Up in the Air” co-writer Sheldon Turner. Edwards joins Archie Panjabi, Austin Stowell, Rita Wilson and Erin Moriarty in the cast.
