CBS Television Distribution has made a pair of additions, naming Scott Grogin executive vice president of communications and Mary Beth McAdaragh executive vice president of marketing. Grogin joins from Fox Networks Group, while McAdaragh previously worked as a marketing consultant.

Production company Slingshot Global Media has brought in Courtney Conte, naming him president. Conte was previously chief operating officer at BBC Worldwide Productions.

Lola Ogunnaike has been named host of “EW: The Show,” which is set to air on the People/Entertainment Weekly Network streaming channel. During her career Ogunnaike has worked with The New York Times, CNN, NBC, MSNBC, BET, MTV, VH1 and Al Jazeera.

Bárbara Bermudo, co-host of Univision’s newsmagazine “Primer Impacto,” has left the network after it decided not to renew her contract. Bermudo had been co-host of the show for more than 14 years.

Actress Alexis Bledel has joined the cast of Hulu’s upcoming “Handmaid’s Tale,” joining Elisabeth Moss in the project. Bledel is best known for her role in “Gilmore Girls.”

Fox has added Gerald McRaney to the cast of “24: Legacy,” playing the father of Jimmy Smits‘ character. McRaney most recently appeared on “This Is Us.”

Kirsten Dunst is set to star in AMC’s “On Becoming A God In Central Florida,” and she’ll also serve as an executive producer. Dunst’s most recent TV role was on “Fargo.”

Music website Reverb has named Dan Abel director of marketing, working alongside chief executive David Kalt and chief operating officer Dan Melnick. Abel joins from YouTube, where he was content partnerships manager.
